For our students， marks is above everything. Teachers will judge us from our marks. With marks we can be enrolled into junior middle schools. today, as people live a better life, they chase for more enjoyment. we can see from the news that when the holiday comes, there are so many people gather in the scenery site. people like to travel today, they can take a plane, take the bus or even take a bike. on my opinion, the best way to travel is by train. first, it is very cheap. compare with other ways, such as plane and bus, train is less expensive, people can save a lot of money. besides, taking the train is much safer. people don’t have to worry about crush, which is more happen in the plane or bus. second, we can enjoy the scenery in the train. though the train is very slow, we can have a good sight of the beautiful scenery, when we go to tibet, we can see different colors and different mountains during the trip. taking the train is the best way to travel.

Most people would like to be popular with others， but not everyone can achieve this goal. What is the secret to popularity？ In fact， it is very simple. The first step is to improve our appearance. We should always make sure that we stay in good shape and dress well. When we are healthy and well-groomed， we will not only look better but also feel better. In addition， we should smile and appear friendly. After all， our facial expression is an important part of our appearance. good morning, ladies and gentlemen,
last summer, i volunteered(动词) to work as an english teacher in a primary school for children of migrant workers. to be accurate, i didn't volunteer. i was dragged in literally. when my friends first hit upon the idea of this project. i was all against it. 'what?' to spend my vacation standing in the heat yelling at a bunch of nine-year-olds who couldn't even speak proper mandarin chinese? and besides. there's no pay for my toil. no. i am definitely not going. my friends twisted my arms to have me join them.
unexpectedly，the first lesson i taught turned out a lesson for me. the moment i stepped into the shabby classroom. i was touched by the loud, respectful voices in unison. 'good morning teacher !' instead of fooling around, the children were thirsty for knowledge and efficient in absorbing everything i was able to give them. this made me despise myself for i hadn't even prepared for the class. during the break. i leaned over the squeaky desk, chatting with a sweaty boy in the front row. "without air-conditioning, it's really hot here. are you tired?" not at all. said he. shaking his head. it's fine here. my dad builds asphalt roads. that is really tiring and hot.
as summer advanced. my enthusiasm as a teacher grew. i prepared my lesson carefully and even used some methods my teachers used. i organized many group activities to give the kids fun. strangely enough the heat was also becoming less and less unbearable. soon, my one-month volunnteer came to an end. when i was leaving my last class, i turned back and saw smiling faces and waving hands. never before had i ever had such a feeling of sadness. which was, nevertheless, mixed with a sense of enrichment, fulfillment and happiness. i was paid for my work, amply paid, not in terms of money, but something more valuable.
my english was improved, i was able to teach it, although not very professional. i learned about the grassroots-level society. inside myself a heart is growing. a heart that not only beats for myself. but cares for others as well. the volunteer work gave me a precious little chance of saying thanks. to people like the little boy's father who construct highways and undergrounds, build up modern skyscrapers, and make our cities more and more beautiful. to help the children with their english was all i could do at present to show my gratitude to these unsung heroes. the world may not have been fair to them. so privileged and blessed people like me make their life better. whatever i do for them, however, i know it can't be compared with what they have done to improve the quality of life in our cities. ladies and gentlemen. now i realize that voluntary shouldn't be just a one-time personal experience. it should be a lifetime activity of everybody. many of us are now offering assistance to the needy and to each other and our efforts have indeed made a difference schooling,---- or caring for the elderly in nursing homes, and helping out in 20xx beijing olympics, will not only contribute to the harmony of the world but elevate ourselves as well. emerson once said, "it's one of the most beautiful compensations of this life no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself" he was right. i hear that my university is going to organize another voluntary teaching program this summer. this time i won't be dragged in. i will volunteer. thank you !

Youth
Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .
Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.
Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .
Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .
When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.

青春是追求。只有当勇气盖过怯弱、进取压倒苟安之时，青春才存在。果如此，则60见之长者比20岁之少年更具青春活力。仅仅岁月的流逝并不能使他们衰老。而一旦抛弃理想和信念，则垂垂老也。
岁月只能使皮肤起皱。而一旦丧失生活的*，则连灵魂枯老，使人生枯如死水，毫无活力。
60岁长者也好，16岁少年也罢，每个人的内心深处都渴望奇迹，都如孩子一般眨着期待的双眼，期待着下一次，期待着生活的情趣，你我灵魂深处都有一座无线电中转站------只有你我年轻，则总能听到希望的呼唤，总能发出喜悦的欢呼，总能传达勇气的讯号，总能表现出青春的活力………
一旦青春的天线倒下，你的灵魂即为玩世不恭之雪、悲观厌世之冰覆盖；即使你年方20.其实你已垂垂老也。而只要你青春的天线高高耸起，就可以随时接收到乐观的电波-----即使你年过八旬，行将就木，而你却仍然拥有青春，你仍然年轻。

Ladies and gentlemen:
Good morning! I am very glad to stand here and share the topic of “youth” with you. I come from and my name is maxfu. Today my topic is “Melody of Youth”.
Some people say that youth is a rising sun, carries infinite hope and irradiates dazzling light.
Some people say that youth is a ball of blaze, flickers the flame of passion, dances the melody of youth.
Some people say that youth is a roaring river, bursts out the voice of confidence, flows the boldness of youth.
Some people say that youth is a fresh willow, has not only the endless tenderness, but also the iron will.
It’s true. Youth is ought to be a life with great persistence, which is full of hope, enthusiasm, assurance, belief and keep striving during all your life.
Since we know how wonderful the youth is, how can we build our own youth wonderful?
Firstly, I think you should set an ambition. Sam Walton has told us: High expectation is the key to everything. Ideals are the navigation mark and ambitions are the power for our striving.
Secondly, I think you should think more. Look before you leap, we are impetuous, if we consider everything calmly; there’s nothing that we can not do successfully.
Thirdly, I think you should work hard. An idle youth， a needy age. When we are young we are supposed to struggle, to do everything by ourselves so that we can get more experience for our future. As it’s said the beautiful rainbow always appears after a ding-on and the wealthy harvest always comes from laborious tillage.
Lastly, I think you should have a mood of optimism. Being positive, when we meet the frustration, can help us learn how to he stronger. Cause we are young, there’s no fail if only we try it again. Don’t get dizzy with success, and don’t get upset with failure.
By the way, being in youth doesn’t only mean you are young at your age. Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind. 诚然，青春就应当是一段充满了无限希望、伴随着火热激情、怀揣着一份自信、抱定一个信念——坚持不懈的人生。
如此的青春既然这么美好，我们到底应当如何去打造呢?
首先，青春需要目标。沃尔顿曾说过：“远大的理想是开启万物的钥匙。”理想是我们前进的航标，目标是我们奋斗的动力。
其次，青春需要思考。三思而后行，年轻的我们是血气方刚的一代，当我们用冷静的思考去面对人生中的一切，还有什么事做不成、办不到的呢!
再者，青春需要努力。少壮不努力，老大徒伤悲。年轻的时代，就是一个应当努力奋斗的年代，通过自己的打拼去积累今后的人生阅历，去历练自己。要知道迷人的彩虹出自大雨的洗礼，丰硕的果实来自辛勤的耕耘。
最后，青春需要有良好的心态。做任何事情都要一个好的心态，遇到了挫折就要学会坚强，因为青春没有失败，只要你再次努力。有一句话叫做“得一时淡然，失一时坦然。”
青春是一幅画，镌刻着瑰丽、浪漫的色彩;青春是一首歌，回荡着欢快、美妙的旋律。当我们用青春的激情，冷静的思考，执着的追求朝着远大的目标不懈努力之后，我想我们一定能够打造出一个美好的青春，一个无悔的青春，让我们的青春旋律更加绚烂多彩!

It is only with the valiant and gallant spirit of the travelers that it can be passed through.
The vast and mighty Yangtzi River， when it comes to an endless， broad plain， will flow ten thousand miles in a rapid current. But as it reaches a narrow valley with high ranges of mountains， cliffs and precipices on both sides， which look dangerously steep， the river has to force its way through them in a winding， tortuous course. The same is the case with the developing course of a nation＇s history.
The history of human race is like going on a journey. Some of the places the traveler passes through are smooth and level pianos， and others are dangerous and rugged paths. The experienced travelers， when they moved on to a broad， level road， will naturally walk along with a light heart， but while they are passing through a rugged place they will all the more be seized with curiosity， and in such an extremely fantastic and magnificent realm， will all the more feel a sort of pleasure in an adventure.
历史的道路，不总是平坦的，有时会变得艰难险阻。这只能靠英勇无畏的精神才能够冲过去。

But now the country＇s fiscal solvency and material resources are not ample enough. What should we do？ It requires that we should be of one heart and exert our efforts for our motherland.

Everyone has a dream.I also have a dream.
I want to be a puter programmer.Because I like playing putergames，and then I want to make my own games.Of courseI know it is difficult to bea good puter programmer.SoI have to learn more the knowledges about puter.For exampleI'll have some puter lessons when I have time.And I willread more puter books everyday.What'sI'll join the puter club in highschool. Today, I speak from this podium a final time as your president. As I depart, I want to thank all of you - students, faculty, alumni and staff - with whom I have been privileged to work over these past years. Some of us have had our disagreements, but I know that which unites us transcends that which divides us. Since I delivered my inaugural address, 56 months ago, I have learned an enormous amount—about higher education, about leadership, and also about myself. Some things look different to me than they did five years ago. The world that today’s Harvard’s graduates are entering is a profoundly different one than the world administrators entered.

Globalization is making the world smaller, faster and richer. Still, 9/11, avian flu, and Iran remind us that a smaller, faster world is not necessarily a safer world.

We can spur great deeds that history will mark decades and even centuries from now. If Harvard can find the courage to change itself, it can change the world.
