旅游主题英语演讲稿例文(通用11篇)
Good morning everyone, my name is ZhouChangsong and my partner YangWeijin and QiuShurong. Today, we will introduce the topic of travelling.
Ok, now my lecture has three parts. The first one is the history of traveling. The second is the ways of traveling and the last one is the impact of traveling.
Ok, it seems that traveling is a recent invention, but as a matter of fact, traveling exists since ancient times. And traveling activities rise in China as early as 22 century B.C. In the late Ming dynasty, a famous geographer and traveler—Xuxiake. When he was 22, he began traveling through all over the country. After 30 years, he traveled most cities and sight spots of China. The next one, Marco Polo, a famous traveler from Italian, his famous book ”The travels of Marco Polo” contains a large amount of information about an unknown world and its nations, have been described the flourish of Yuan dynasty.
Well, this is the picture of Xuxiake, this is the picture of Marco Polo and his book.
Ok, next, let me introduce the ways of traveling. As we all know, before we go travel, we should make a careful plan. First, we should choose the place we travel. There are four choices, the natural spot, the historic site, the countryside and big cities. Then we should plan how many days we travel, only several days or more than a week.
After we choose a place, we should choose the traffic to go travel. If the way is not very long, we can travel on foot, it is safe and easiness, but you should take enough food and water. If you have a car, you can drive it of course, it will be very exciting and you can enjoy the roadside scenery. If you travel abroad or a long distance you can travel by ship or by plane. Well, in the near future, people can travel to other stars. A survey show that 11% people believe that it will possible to travel to the moon in 20xx. At last, you should choose the people you travel with. You travel with your family, travel with your friends, or travel alone or join a travel group.
Ok, now let me introduce the impact of traveling. It includes the impact to individual and the impact to our society and economy.
Well, there are many advantages of traveling. Travel can widen our knowledge of geography and the knowledge of cultures and customs. And we can experience the lifestyles of different places and countries. The most important, we can see many different beautiful sceneries and it will be a good memory in our future life. Well, travel is take exercise and it can build up our body. We can make many different friends through traveling and it is a good way to free our life and relax after busy work and study. Many cities have its feature snakes, when we travel, we can enjoy many delicious food. WuHan, for example, hot-and-dry noodles, duck necks are very delicious.
Well, there are some disadvantages of traveling. Travel can waste many time and money, especially when you join a travel group. And it has higher prices for transportation. Sometimes travelers are not very safe when they travel and safety is the most important problem.
Well, scenery spots can benefit a lot and tourism can promote economic development. And travel can promote the communication between different nations and cultures. And a famous spot can make a city more famous, for example, Hangzhou is famous for the west lake and Wuhan is famous for the east lake. This is the east lake.
On the other hand, traveling has some disadvantages to our society. More and more people choose to travel on holiday and it becomes a burden to our inefficient transportation system. Well, some people damage scenic spot and influence the economy and environment. To solve these problems, government should make related laws and visitors should improve the awareness to protect the economy and environment. Then we will ensure the sustainable development of tourism. Thank you!
A visit to Beijing On Oct 1st, the National Day of China, this year, dad, mom and I went to Beijing on a package tour arranged by the travel agency. I was so happy because it's the first time that I visit the Great Wall. The Great Wall, one of the greatest wonders of the world, was enlisted in the World Heritage in 1987. Just like a gigantic dragon, it winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus stretching approximately 6,700 kilometers from east to west of China. With a history of more than 20xx years, some sections are now in ruins or even entirely disappeared. However, it is still one of the most appealing attractions all around the world owing to its architectural grandeur and historical significance. We took the bus to arrive at the foot of the Great Wall. There are so many people who had been here. I began to climb the dreamed Great Wall. At first I did not feel tired, but after I stepped a thousands of steps I felt tired and thirsty. At last, we stood on the highest point of the Great Wall. A Chinese saying goes like that, “you are not a real hero until you have climbed the Great Wall”. The landscape outside and inside the Great Wall was so beautiful in this autumn

Traveling is one of life’s great joys. It’s a way to see the world and learn about places you’ve never been before. Here are some ways to help you make the most of your travel experience.
1. Plan for the unexpected
An itinerary can be helpful, but you won’t be able to plan everything down to the smallest detail. How could you possibly have known about that little restaurant at the back of that alley before you arrived, or that friendly local who invited who into his house to hear him play thesanturi? Often, the best parts of a trip are a result of an adventure.
2. Not getting what you want or getting what you didn’t want can be a blessing in disguise
When you have to take a later bus or a different ferry, you have no choice but to accept it. This is how a lot of successful people learn to be happy when things don’t go their way.
3. The best things can come from the worst experiences
Once, when I was in Sicily, I was swindled by a stranger for a hundred dollars. At first I was devastated. I spent the entire next day thinking about what I should have done to keep my money, and what I would do if I had it. But what I learned from this about humanity, about the nature of good and evil within people, and how circumstances force them to do bad things showed me a lot about myself and how to cope with misfortune.
4. Price and value are two different things
The cost of a trip may be a couple of thousand dollars, depending on how you go. But the value it could have on your life and your memories could be priceless. Think about how much you are willing to spend, sure, but also consider what else you want from your vacation, who you want to meet, what kind of experiences you want to have, and how you want to remember it ten years from now.
5. Don’t follow others’ footsteps and find your own path
Traveling in a guided tour can be informative and fun, but I look forward to wandering away from the group, down labyrinthine alleys, into falafel shops and sectarian neighborhoods, to experience my own understanding of a city and its environs. The same applies to when I come home from my trip.
6. Living in the moment
Traveling is kind of like being in love. Except instead of being intimate with another person, you become intimate with a place. Those moments of pleasure when the sun hits your face and you look out onto a foreign countryside, or arrive at a new train depot in a bustle of taxis and hawkers—those are the moments you, or at least I, remember, and live for, again and again.
7. Seeing how other people live
We’re all part of a human family, but it’s easy to forget that when we move through our daily routine, seeing people who live just like we do. But when you see people going about their daily existence in ways very different from your own, it can open your eyes to how similar you are to them, and how different.
8. Appreciating what you have
When you see a family eating rice for dinner and sleeping on the street under the open sky, it can help you think about how lucky you are to have a home and warm clothes you can go back to. Chances are if you’re reading this right now, your probably in the top 20% of the world’s wealthiest people. Don’t forget it!
9. Discerning tiny differences
When you travel to a country that speaks a different language, it’s easy to spot what else makes it different. From the way the sunlight falls across a valley to the different flora andfauna in the surrounding forest, use your senses to determine what else is different in your foreign destination.
10. Be more comfortable alone
Even when you’re traveling with others, it can be isolating when no one speaks your language. Too often, you will have to make do thinking thoughts in your head, which is what many great thinkers, philosophers and artists have long known and practiced.
11. Learn how to tell a better story
Inevitably you will see or hear things worth telling friends about when you return home. After traveling enough, you will have all the practice you need to become a master story-teller.
So keep traveling with these lessons in mind and learn more from your experiences abroad.
