——戏剧艺术基础知识
了解戏剧艺术的基本特点，建立对戏剧本质的正确认识对于戏剧创作是非常重要的。
从广义上讲，无论是话剧还是戏曲，还有歌剧、芭蕾舞剧、音乐剧以及新兴的电视剧，只要有“剧”字都可以包容到“戏剧”这个概念中来。但是，这样一个看似简单的概念，它的内涵究竟是什么？概括起来，主要从以下几个方面理解：
1、戏剧艺术的综合性
所谓“综合艺术”是指将两种或两种以上的艺术成分融合起来形成的一种新的带有自身独立性的艺术。在这种融合中，原来的艺术特点在一个新的系统中重新排列组合，变成了新的，独立的艺术形式中的因素。原有的艺术特点被消解，而这种消解却使一种新的艺术形式成长。
不同的艺术形象都有特殊的存在形态，欣赏着对它们的感受途径与方式也都各自不同。人们在区分不同艺术的时候，便自然地从存在形态，感受途径，创作手段及欣赏心理等方面去划分各种艺术形式的界限。
各种不同的艺术都有自己的创作手段，戏剧艺术的创作手段是其他所有艺术样式的综合。文学为戏剧带来语言与文字；音乐为戏剧带来音响与节奏；绘画为戏剧带来色彩与线条……最重要的是诗歌为戏剧带来了想象力与激情，简单地说，这就是戏剧被称为综合艺术的内在道理，也是戏剧艺术创作最难以掌握的本质原因。
所以，戏剧是一种综合艺术，这种综合性既来自一部戏剧作品的问世要有编剧、导演、演员、舞美、灯光、音响，以及服装、化妆、道具等等不同部门的努力，更深入地讲又在于戏剧艺术形式本身具有空间综合，视听综合及现场交流的特性，这种特性是戏剧艺术的精髓，也是戏剧艺术本质的生命力之所在。
2、戏剧的核心与基点
从戏剧艺术的总体价值来看，各种艺术创作的因素都是为表演服务的，都只是为演出艺术即演员的表演行为提供条件。
比如话剧（可以是文字完成的，也可以是提纲或一种意念）是为演员的表演提供基础：诗意（情感的丰富性）、思想（思维与观念的深刻性），想象力（情节与场面的复杂性，时空间变化的诗意美）等方面的基础；而布景，灯光，道具则是为了演员的表演创造具体的时空环境：是远古还是现代，是没心还是外在；服装、化妆则是为演员扮演角色提供让每一个观众能够认同的外部条件；还有音乐、音响或作为场上自然声响的效果，或作为人物情感状态的情绪描写，所以认定这些创作是表演艺术的辅助并不过分。
可以这样认为，在戏剧艺术中，表演（演员）因素是艺术形式的核心，而演员与观众的关演关系是戏剧能够成为艺术的基点
3、关于“演”及演员 A.怎么演
我们一般认为戏剧当然是演员来表演，但演员也只是一个概念，它并不意味着一定由真人来承担演出。
可以大致进行这样一种划分：主要的戏剧艺术形式是由“人”利用身体或身体的某一部分当做表演的工具，还有一些戏剧则是由“非人”承担演员的角色。如：动物、木偶、动画等等。
B.表演的支点——体验与摹仿
戏剧艺术的两个重要因素体验与摹仿。表演艺术或者说演员应该具备这两种最基本的能力，即摹仿能力和体验能力。不具备这两种能力的演员，是不合格的演员，由于对这两点的强调，在表演艺术史上我们经常能够听到这两种说法：体验派和表现派。
体验派的艺术家认为，演员在舞台上应当与角色“合一”，表现派的戏剧理论家则认为：艺术不是合一而是“表现”。简单的讲，体验派要求舞台呈现的是：真实+美；表现派要求舞台呈现的是：美+假定的真实。实际上对于演员来说，体验和表现都是重要的，在表演过程中是不能绝对分开的。因为演员表演，并不是在舞台上过日子，他的目地明显地是要创作角色，要在情感上打动观众。然而这种创造又要符合舞台逻辑与生活本身不一样，这其间既要体验，也要表现。
无论从哪一角度进行解释，演员的当众表演可算是戏剧的生存基础。 4.戏剧艺术的其他下创作手段
戏剧艺术是多种艺术成分组合的结果，并且这种组合是在表演艺术限定下的组合，不能超越表演艺术去进行戏剧创新，在这个基础上我们可以分门别类地来看看戏剧艺术中其他艺术创作因素。
A.剧本
按照文学艺术原理的划分，剧本可称为戏剧文学。是继叙事文学（史诗）想、抒情文学（抒情诗）之后的第三种文学体裁。
在剧本创作中，作者运用文学语言组成剧本的两种文体：一是说明性文字；二是台词。
（1）说明性文字 关于人物活动环境的说明 ○所谓人物活动环境的说明，实际上是对具体场面环境的描述。这种描述不只是面对观众的，因为观众看到的是舞台呈现出来的状态而不是文字状态。因此，这些说明更多的是面对戏剧创作的各个部门的，让大家明了幕布是在怎样的条件下拉开的，而拉开后观众将首先面对的是什么样的景物。作者在这种说明中可以采用完全的描述语言，也可以用来夹叙夹议的文字，为的是能像小说那样去感染其他部门的创作者，大家共同将舞台在开始时的气氛精细传神地展示出来。
2 2 对出场人物的说明 ○这是一种叙述的文字，剧作者将个人对于所写人物的外形和气质用文字直接描写出来，以利于导演，演员和其他舞台部门对形象本身的塑造。有的时候，这种描写几乎等同于人物的传记。演员读过之后，就会根据自己的体会抓住对人物的处理基点，使角色的舞台形象向剧作家所期望的状态靠近。 对人物外部行为的提示 ○人物的外部行为是剧作者对于人物在舞台上行为的设计，一般的说在演出中并不见得能够实现，因为演员和导演都可以进行各自的处理。但是，在剧本的创作过程中，剧作者可以根据个人的角色的解释来处理。这种说明性的文字常常是对角色人物形体的规定，并且它们更为常见的是为了表达人物情绪的结果。 受过专业训练的演员都明白所谓“舞台任务三要素”：第一，动作——我做什么；第二，立意——我为什么做这个；第三，调度——我怎样做，即行动的性质与形状。
这个逻辑不单对演员有意义，对剧作者也同样重要。作者只有准确地把握人物在特定的环境中的心理（为什么做）状态时，才能准确赋予人物具体的外部形体动作（怎样做）。
4对人物内在行为（心理情绪）的提示 ○在剧本的文字创作中，这种说明性文字只占很少的篇幅它们存在的价值，只是帮助演员体会人物心理变化的内在轨迹。在实际的排练演出中，由剧作者提示的人物内在情绪色彩，往往只是起参考作用。
（2）台词
一般地说，台词当然是戏（话）剧的主要创作手段。不仅话剧、影视作品创作中，台词也都是无法忽视的重要因素。它在剧本中承担着创作形象，推动情节，完成人物塑造的主要任务，台词可以划分出多种不同的样式。
1对话——在剧本写作中做常见的就是对话，但对话剧本身就有技巧和有色○彩的。在生活的层面上说，对话也可以是多重性的。即三个一群，五个一伙，各说各的。也可以是两个团伙之间的对话。还可以是单个人和一个群体的对话。总之，只要是交流性的，表现人物心理内心活动的语言手段都可以成为重要对话方式。
2独白——这也是戏剧语言的一种重要手段。随着人们对戏剧艺术规律的深○入研究，独白逐渐摆脱了原来纯叙述的性质，越来越变成描写人物状态和心理的普通手段。
3旁白——几乎与独白的意义相仿。独白与旁白的区别在于：独白只有一个○ 人物在场面中，而旁白则是一个人物在与同场其他人物对话或交流时插入的自语，而对其他人视而不见。在反应人物的心理上，二者异曲同工，但后者常被使用在喜剧创作的处理上。
上述剧本的各种文字成分都是一个个重要的专题，一部优秀的剧作能够获得成功往往是以上各个方面文字创作的成功。一个剧作者除了要具备文学创作的基本功力之外，如果对上述环节没有精心研究，并在此基础上有一定个人认识，就很难掌握剧本文学这种重要的创作形式。
B.舞台美术
我们所说的“舞台美术”指的是布景，道具，灯光，服装，化妆等成分。这些部门实际上也是为演员的表演艺术服务的，它是戏剧艺术的综合成分之一。
（1）布景
它在戏剧艺术中的主要作用是
第一，作为戏剧空间的构成因素，主要是表现出剧中人物生活活动的具体场景。
第二，作为主人公命运或性格的暗示与烘托。
第三，可以为整部作品的品格和意图提供基调与气氛。
对于上述作用的不同强调，可以使一部作品在舞台上出现完全不同的布景设计，形成不同的风格和色彩。
（2）灯光
它是戏剧艺术中的创作部分，但灯光的存在绝不只是照明，它要承担以下基本任务。
第一，灯光满足观众的视觉要求，即看得见。
第二，灯光是创造舞台时间的最直接手段，无论是春夏秋冬还是清晨到午夜，灯光都是最佳利用工具。
第三，灯光可以影响舞台的演出的节奏。 第四，灯光往往是作为表现天气和景物的手段。
第五，它是营造舞台气氛，展示人物情绪，提高舞台感染力的手段。 （3）道具
道具是舞台美术中另一种造型成分，它可以被认为是环境陈设的一部分，是布景的延伸，是表现人物生活环境的因素。
（4）服装
服装作为舞台形象的辅助手段，从为人物增加视觉上的美感，到为人物塑造服务；从为人物提供外部造型特征直到成为某些戏剧演出中创作者情绪的直接流露。 （5）化妆
一般地说，化妆有两个目的：其一，是为了消没演员的面目特征，使得其向戏剧中的角色靠拢。其二是强调演员的身份，使其从普通人中脱离出来。
C.音乐和音响 （1）音乐
戏剧中的音乐因素使用主要有两种：起烘托作用和起揭示性作用的音乐。烘托作用，常常是为某一个具体的戏剧场面所用的。另一种揭示性音乐，它起的是对人物行为或对戏剧场面潜在内容的揭示作用。
无论哪种，其主要目地是帮助观众更加深入地感受场面人物，情节，而不是脱离这种总体效果。
（2）音响
第一，有声源音响，是指这种声音是舞台上人物的行为造成的，是情节中规定的，其主要是起效果作用。
第二，无声源音响，他不只是效果声，同时也是人物的心声，是一种描写人物内心的手段，或者说它本身就构成了一种人物动作的内在成分。
D.导演
导演在现代戏剧中的重要地位是有目共睹的，甚至可以说它是一门独立的艺术科学——导演学。
（1）戏剧艺术的组织者
导演在一部戏剧作品的演出中是不出场的，但是我们在欣赏戏剧作品时却时时能感到他的存在。在现代戏剧中，一个导演的第一任务是“表现一部剧作的灵魂”，一位优秀导演的工作当然是围绕着演员的表演艺术而展开的。他既应该善于引导每个演员进入角色，又应该能够把众多演员的创作组织成和谐的整体。
（2）二度创作
剧本的创作是一度创作，导演的创作是二度创作，因为他的创作是在剧本提供的基础上完成的。导演的二度创作实际上就是彻底将剧作家的剧本完全舞台化的过程。
